How
long has Kmet Hosting been in operation?
After 5 years of hosting only our most valued mission critical
web development projects we officially formed Kmet Hosting and
opened our doors to the public on December 2002. [

Where is the Data Center based?
The Net Access Corporation (NAC) datacenter is located
inn Parsippany, N.J. 07054, USA. More information about its amazing

Is the hosting provided by Kmet
Hosting reliable?
It certainly is! NAC's connections to multiple backbone
providers, and peering with many carriers on a regional and international
basis, allows them to easily reach remote networks even in the
case where a network access point (NAP) may be unhealthy, or when
a specific backbone connection is down. It also allows them to
make intelligent routing decisions; for example, if they are trying
to reach a remote network which is on the Sprint network, there's
no reason to send it out to UUNET first.
By placing their core nodes at places like Equinix and Telehouse,
we are guaranteed a level of competent service. All of their core
nodes employ SONET networks, which essentially provides a dual-redundant,
counter-rotating ring technology, and in the event of a fiber
cut, the SONET will automatically heal itself. NAC also divide
their circuits among several telecommunications providers, such
as Verizon, MFS/Worldcom, and Adelphia. [

What type of servers will my site
be hosted on?

What happens if I want to upgrade
my plan?
Simply let us know by submitting a support ticket in
your
account center; we'll upgrade your
plan. You'll have access to the extra disk space and data transfer
right away, however; we will wait until the following payment
cycle to charge you the upgraded plan prices. [

What will happen if I exceed my disk
space and data transfer allowances?
If this happens by only a small margin, we'll ignore
it; however, if it's in excess we'll simply upgrade your package
and let you know. You won't experience any downtime or an embarrasing
'this account has exceeded its resources' page. [

Do you provide Windows Based hosting?
No. Kmet Hosting only provides Linux based hosting. We
don't have plans to offer Windows hosting anytime in the future.

How long does it take to establish
an account?
From the time you complete the credit card authorization
from our processing facility, your account will be activated in
under 6 hours. Usually it is much less than this, but please allow
6 hours maximum. Most accounts are activated in just minutes.

If I buy hosting and don't like
it, do I get my money back?
Yes. We offer a 30 day money back guarantee if you are
not satisfied with our services. [

Why don't you provide telephone support
through a call center?
Call centers are extremely expensive to operate and would
force our prices up significantly. We provide hosting solutions
to clients from many different countries and telephone support
does not efficiently function across that platform whereas web
based support does. We find that we can be more specific with
web based support compared to verbal support via the phone. Web
based support also documents our responses so you can revisit
them at a later date rather than trying to make your own notes
from a telephone conversation. [
